Hi, Dr. Anand here from Warragul Dental Care.
If you have multiple missing teeth and are looking for an effective option to replace them altogether, there are a few options for you to choose from, depending on the outcome you want.
First option. If you want something that looks and feels like your own teeth, that you can floss between, brush like normal, and chew whatever you want, then dental implants are usually the best choice. They’re fixed in place, they don’t rely on your other teeth for support, and they function just like natural teeth.
Now, if implants aren’t an option for you, the next best choice is a dental bridge. A bridge is fixed in place, but instead of being supported by implants, it’s attached to your natural teeth. The downside? It puts extra pressure on the supporting teeth, so those teeth need to be strong and healthy before we consider this option.

The third option is a removable denture, just like grandma’s teeth. While dentures are more affordable, they don’t feel or function like real teeth. They can move around, and there’s always a risk of them becoming loose when you eat or talk. So, which option is best for you? It really depends on your goals, lifestyle, and budget.
